Sony's #4ThePlayers Marketing Genius: Nostalgia

Nothing quite gets us warm and fuzzy in the feels like something from the past. Which is why Sony is playing it smart by using their past successes and the fond memories players forged with the PSOne and PS2 to promote the impending PlayStation 4 launch.
In the new campaign, Sony shows how PlayStation consoles and games have been #4ThePlayers since 1995, drawing inspiration from the highly successful #PlayStationMemories hashtag that appeared just ahead of the PS4 announcement.
