Starcraft II PSA

Posted on Friday, July 30 @ 11:00:33 Eastern by Duke_Ferris

There is a bug in Starcraft 2 that can potentially cause your graphics card to overheat. However, we have the fix here.

Just go to C:DocumentsStarCraft IIvariables.txt and edit the file to include the lines

frameratecapglue=30
frameratecap=60

Apparently, there was no framerate limitation placed on the menu screens, so if you leave the screen on the menu, the computer sits there rendering the menu as hard and fast as it possibly can.
