LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition Available Now!

Posted on Wednesday, August 24 @ 13:20:00 Eastern by

There are few games that can create moments like the one below. Street Fighter III: Third Strike will forever be a part of gaming in our hearts and minds thanks to its venerable match play. In fact, Street Fighter IV would never have come to be (when it did) if it weren't for Third Strike's extremely long life.

And now, you can recreate those moments in the comfort of your home. Put up the Daigo parry defense and defeat Justin Wong for yourself. Come back against incredible odds to win championships, unlock trophies, and earn bragging rights both online and offline.

Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition is now available as a part of the PlayStation Network's PSN PLAY promotion. If you're like me, you've already made more than a few attempts at the Trials mode, but don't forget about the improved online Net Code, Online Tournament modes, replay modes, and even the ability to upload your fights to YouTube, so you can rub it in the Internet's collective face.

Seriously, go check out Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition. It's the best version of the best Street Fighter game to date. I'll be playing tonight online, bring it on.

To this day, i have yet to play any fighter game that is equal or better then street fighter 3: third strike. Yup, you heard it from me, street fighter 4 sucks compare to number three!

Lien's fun fact: when the original street fighter 3 came out, Alex was the main protagonist and Ryu nor ken were around to be found. They did so to say "WE ARE DOING A FRESH START!". When they release the second version, they reintroduce Ryu and Ken to the scene and the popularity boosted! So by the third one, capcom went "F*** this!" and put chun li. Hence why she is on the title screen and in the center of the poster, it was to promote her.
