Submit a Question to the GR Mailbag for Tomorrow's Podcast Recording!

Posted on Wednesday, October 12 @ 15:06:49 Eastern by

Anthony and I are going to be taking to the airwaves tomorrow for the latest episode of GameRevolution Radio. Our weekly podcast is running low on questions yet again so we need you to submit yours for tomorrow's episode!

If you asked a question in the comments last time and it wasn't answered, don't be afraid to ask again! You also don't have to ask us about video games. Need relationship help? You're covered. Got a math problem? Done. What's that gross thing on your inner thigh? Ew, but yeah we'll take a look.

We're also looking for a new community guest host! Head to this forum thread for the details, but before that, drop your question for GameRevolution Radio in the comments here!

What is the gayest band you listen to nowadays? Do you dance to their songs or sing them in public?

Well, since you are running low on questions, here's one: What other activities besides video games do you guys enjoy? Are you wrestling fans? Fans of the outdoors? Music? (what are your favorite bands?) Movies? Reading?

What's your take on the Japanese gaming development setup as of right now? Inafune and others have made their points, but as reviewers I imagine you've probably seen all the various tropes and cliches, so: Has Japan run out of ideas (that aren't the furtive workings of an insane pervert), or does it seem more like corporate offices are killing game ideas if they don't conform to what they view the Japanese market would buy?

Are there any beloved franchises that you feel should stop embarrassing themselves by releasing in the modern era just and retire (Duke Nukem, Final Fantasy, etc)? On the flip side, are there any franchises you guys can think of that have been around forever but are still legitimately fresh and good?

While I will still enjoy Skyward Sword and don't mind the art style chosen for it at all, I feel that the Zelda universe warrants a darker, i guess...."grittier" (if i had to choose a word) tone? In Link to the past, your father dies moments after the game starts (i believe it was his father). Ocarina had the awesome shadow temple.... filled with things that are dead. Majoras Mask i feel had an overall darker tone throughout that i rather enjoyed. Twilight Princess with my favorite graphical style since Ocarina, just felt more......(here iyt is again) "gritty".

My question is- Would you rather see more Zelda games in the style of Wind Waker and Skyward Sword or Twilight Princess?
