Super Mario Bros. Killer NES Crossover
Posted on Tuesday, January 17 @ 09:12:04 Eastern by Anthony Severino
This Super Mario Bros. Crossover features some of the greatest characters and games from the 8-bit era. I let out a little tear when I saw Master Blaster. Is it sad that I'd pay over $100 for a full-featured version of this game?
Super Mario Crossover has existed for awhile. It's the whole game of SMB1, and you can play as 8 different NES characters (it started out as fewer, but they added more over time). If you pick Mario, it's almost exactly like the original, except you can save your game, and the screen can scroll to the left (original only scrolled one way, no going back!). It's a FREE flash game! And that's really free, no sign up required or anything!
It looks like this video shows a major upgrade, with SNES and GameBoy graphics added, a bunch of new characters, and it looks like they added SMB3 levels! If they have that whole game, that's mind blowing! Even if they don't this is awesome!
