EVIDENCE 1: When playing Super Mario RPG, when you go to Rose Town, the first time you go to bed at the Inn (A story event) when you wake up, Link is lying in the bed next to you. Talking to him plays the little "door opening" sound from Zelda, so you know it's him.
EVIDENCE 2: When you go to the Courtyard in the castle in Ocarina of Time, where you first meet Zelda, if you look through the window you will see portraits of Mario, Peach and Yoshi. This implies they are likely honored guests at Hyrule Castle, probably due to the fact that Peach is royalty, Mario is her loyal Bodyguard, and Yoshi is the trusty steed.
CONCLUSION: Link can visit Mushroom kingdom all he wants to man, stop picking on him just cause he's from Hyrule.
