Tell GR: Any low, low prices?

Both Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone, and while there may be a fair deal or two between now and Christmas, all those crazy markdowns have passed. I didn't pick up any games this year, but I did spend money on two new chairs and a book case for my living room.

Did you pick anything up on Black Friday?

Killzone 3 Helghast Edition is $24.99 @ Best Buy
Resistance 3 is $29.99 @ Amazon. Probably gonna pick those up, as I held off on them before.

Like I said in the forums, I bought Sour Patch Kids with a credit card at a shoe store. I'm damn proud of that. :P

Not game related, but I got a Motorola bluetooth headset that retails $100 for $20 on Amazon lightning deal. Corel Paintshop Pro X4 retails $100 I got it for $25 Amazon lightning deal. $100 freshwater pearl jewelry set retails $100 got it for $10 eBay daily deal (sold out quick). Jlab X4 earbuds retails for $100 got them for $20 Amazon lightning deal. Jlab X3 earbuds retails $60 got them for $19 Amazon lightning deal.

Oh I did get Dead or Alive: Dimensions for $25 new on Amazon (retails $40) on a daily Cyber Monday deal.

Forgot to mention I just picked up a SoundLogic iTower speaker system that retails for $350 and got it for $100 at Rite Aid...yeah Rite Aid...

I picked up my first PS3 with the holiday bundle. Gave up consoles for almost 6 years after

Now that I'm back in the scene I'm paying attention to games again.

Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD). I got a $100 Newegg gift card for my birthday earlier in November. I'm ok with dropping $11 for an SSD.

Got all of my holiday shopping for the family done on Black Friday on Amazon. Got some good lightning deals on dish sets for my mother, books for my dad, and stuff like that. I'm so deep into BF3 and Skyrim (which came with $30 in Amazon credit from preorders btw) right now I didn't pick up any new games for myself. Got my eye on MW3 & Batman AC, but I also see ME3 coming down the line, so who knows. I did need a new Xbox Live Gold card, so I camped out online for one of those 3-month cards for $7.99 lightning deals. Waited and added it to my cart, but then when I tried to check out it wasn't there. Checked back on the deals page and the deal listing was gone too. Opened up an Amazon chat support window real quick and asked them what was up. They said there was a glitch, that the deal was gone, and maybe wouldn't be put back up. Then they gave me $20 off my next order without me even asking or complaning. Picked up a 12-month card for $25 after discount. Stay classy Amazon.com. Got great deals, all of my holiday shopping done (in my house robe), and didn't have to brave crowds or get pepper-sprayed. Huzzah for the Internets, and **** you Wal-Mart & the rest!

I picked up a few grey hairs and laid the groundwork for a possible aneurism when I went to WalMart Thanksgiving night to pick up Battlefield 3.

Yeah, I still couldn't believe the chaos. I managed to get The Anarchy Edition of RAGE for $30 at K-Mart. I also saved 10 dollars at Target buying Mortal Kombat for $50. I tweeted that out to Anthony, because I thought he would be proud of my decision (It was either Mortal Kombat or Rocksmith).

No games, but I did get a shiny new Acer 20 inch LED backlight widescreen monitor of doom for 89.99 ($50.00 off) with free 2-3 shipping from Newegg. I'm using it right now as I type this. It replaced my old 17 inch CRT box of dread that had issues with the power button not working as intended. I really should have replaced the thing when I bought the new computer last year but I never got around to it. The power button started giving me issues a few weeks ago and when I saw the stupidly low prices last weekend on monitors I jumped on it. My only regret is that my desk just isn't big enough to accommodate a larger screen, they had few larger ones with equally idiotically small prices. The sale is of course over now, so if you wanted one, you missed it.

I worked Black Friday and Cyber Monday for the most part, so the only deal I happened to grab was the Indie Game Music Bundle online. 21 soundtracks, $10. Good deal, especially for the VVVVVV soundtrack, PPPPPP. Oh, and there's Super Meat Boy and the Binding of Issac's soundtracks in here as well. I've got a lot to listen to over the next few months.
