REVIEWSGRiD 2 Review
Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.
State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?
E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...
Above you'll find the new trailer for July 20th's The Dark Knight Rises. Below you'll find the final trailer for Marvel's The Avengers, landing in theaters this week on May 4th.
And below this, you'll find the new trailer for Ridley Scott's Prometheus, slated for release on June 8th.
My question to you is...
Which of these movies are you more excited to see?
Only avengers. I don't like the last batman moving coming due to the fact I hate bane. As for the other movie don't really care much for it. Asides from Avengers summer feels meh to me. Comic-con Marvel theme is probably going to be iron man 3 tho.
Avengers has already been out for two weeks here in New Zealand. I've seen it twice now, and I honestly wasn't expecting anything from it after the debacle that was Thor, but I have to say, Joss Whedon nailed it.
Really looking forward to Batman. I'm cautiously optimistic about Prometheus and Avengers, although the latter is a Marvel movie (which are all hit or miss) and I hate Joss Whedon. What I REALLY want to see this summer though is Moonrise Kingdom.
I was pumped to see that Avengers launched overseas before the U.S. (because I could stream it). I watched it, it was better than Thor (a guy *****ing for 90 minutes about how his dad didn't like him and he wanted to be tough). I would watch it again, but was glad it was free.
I'm super pumped for Batman (because I was brainwashed by The Animated Series as a child). I'm also very very excited about Prometheus. So yeah, I didn't answer your question.
The original plot and script was actually supposed to be an Alien prequel, but Scott decided to just take that idea and make something else with it instead.
These will probably be the only 3 movies I see all Summer. I'm not expecting a lot from the Avengers (especially considering how mediocre the build-up films were), but I fully expect Nolan to make Dark Knight Rises into the deepest psychological study of Batman ever done. As for Prometheus - Ridley Scott Sci-Fi? Yes, I'll have some more of that, please.

Also, if you haven't seen it yet, see Cabin In the Woods. It really is THAT good, I s**t you not.
I intend to hit midnight showings of both Avengers and Batman, and I'll most likely be checking out Prometheus as well when it hits theaters.
