Tell GR: What Else Do You Want in GameRevolution Radio?

Posted on Friday, November 11 @ 19:45:42 Eastern by danielrbischoff

This week's episode of GameRevolution Radio got me thinking. I think we've got talking about video games down, but occasionally, it might be nice to mix things up. I don't think we're ready to abandon all that video game talk, but are there other subjects you might like to hear the rotating hosts on GameRevolution Radio chat about?

What else do you want to hear the GameRevolution Editors talk about on the weekly GameRevolution Radio podcast?

How about some DVD, movie, or TV show picks? Either that or you could air-out any extreme political, racial, or sexual views you may have.

Issues in the industry. Is Act-Bliz too big? has innovation died? Will Indie games rule supreme or be stomped by lawyers and lawsuits (ala scrolls)? Etc.

If we did this they would probably tell me to shut the **** up all the time so we can move on to the next bit.

I think you should write a GR song and play it yourselves.

Nick could be the mad keyboardist, like the one in School of Rock, but dressed like Kratos
Anthony would be the lead guitar, playing like Jack Johnson meets Brí¼tal Legend
Josh could play the drums and percussion a la Donkey Kong
Heath and Kevin could sing some Milli Vanillish kind of arrangements with a Skyrim barbaric voice.
    Daniel goes to the maracas

Some sort of sound leveling... I have to turn up my sound to hear everyone then when music starts or everyone starts laughing it is way to loud.

I agree. Some Compression on the Master should fix that.

I agree with Guernica and Lawngnome (scroll all the way up). To expand on that idea I would propose that you guys do a weekly "What are you watching?" similar to Saturday's "What are you playing?" where users could tell what TV Show and/or movie they are currently watching. It would provide some insight into everyone's general tastes plus it might allow for someone to consider some movie or show they might have dismissed otherwise.

It's great knowing Dan can use Skype to record the GR Roundtable. Perhaps a community spotlight? You guys can ask the guest questions before or after the the mailbag, and the guest could answer them. I feel it's always great to meet new members.
