Tell GR: What Was Your Favorite Indie Game Of 2013?

The Stanley Parable, Papers, Please, Don't Starve, Gone Home, Starbound... these games have received critical honors, widespread attention, and continue to amaze us with incredible receptions from gamers like you.
Unfortunately for yours truly, it's hard to keep track of all the indie games coming to market with new and inventive titles landing on Steam on a daily basis. It can feel overwhelming to sift through every new title, much less play everything to stay on top of the growing indie scene.
That's why I'm asking for your help. With January still relatively slow when it comes to new releases, can we all take a second to appreciate the fantastic indie games from 2013? Which was your favorite? Why should everyone play it? Did you help fund an indie game last year? If it's not enough to tell us the best indie game of 2013, which are you looking forward to playing in 2014?
