This week, we're in record high temperatures, Anthony's house is about to be blown over, and Nick? Where the hell is Nick? Things are falling apart at The GameRevolution Compound! With 2012 being the year of the end of the world and the people of the Earth of this universe, we might be able to crown a Game of the Year!
That's why I'm thinking back on all the games that have come and gone so far. Which has been the best? Obviously Mass Effect 3 and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier are contenders, but I haven't evangelized either of those as I did Journey. I also didn't rate them as highly. But we tell you what we think all the time, now tell us:
What's the best game of 2012 (so far)?

My only beef was the multiplayer character progress being a GRIND FEST. Gang wars is cool, but it gets repetitive when your character develops at a snails pace

But fundamentally, I have to side with you and vote for Mass Effect 3 for kick-ass gameplay and the multiplayer was well executed creating a HUGE amount of replay value.

That said, Dota 2 and Guild Wars 2 are going to destroy it for me.

In operant conditioning, a variable-ration schedule is a schedule of reinforcement where a response is reinforced after an unpredictable number of responses. This schedule creates a high steady rate of responding. Gambling and lottery games are good examples of a reward based on a variable ratio schedule.
