FEATURED VOXPOP oblivion437 Update: I was unfortunately not aware of Shamus Young's severe criticism of Fallout 3 available here to link in the original piece and I regret that.  It dovetails rather nicely with what I've written and it's much better executed than my piece.  I strongly recommend anyone...

Tell GR: Which GTA V Protagonist Is Your Favorite?

Posted on Tuesday, September 17 @ 14:00:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Grand Theft Auto V is on store shelves today, and as such, we decided to frame this week's question around the three lead characters that wreak havoc upon the massive open world that Rockstar has created.

There's Michael, the criminal turned family man, who can't seem to quell his desire to step outside the law. Then there's his old pal Trevor, a mess of a man who is basically chaos incarnate. And finally we have Franklin, the gangster who's just looking to make it in the world of Los Santos. Each is drastically different from one another; each has something interesting and unique to bring to the table--but which of the three is your favorite?

I know, I know, the game just launched today, so deciding now may prove to be a bit challenging, but give it your best shot. I for one have no intention of ever playing the game, but based on all of the media we've seen thus far, I find Michael the most intriguing of the bunch. That said, if you haven't yet played GTA V and wish reserve judgment, let us know who your favorite protagonist is among the prior games in the series. Something tells me Niko won't be getting many votes...
