After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

Tell GR: Which Is Your Favorite Pokémon Of All Time?

Posted on Tuesday, October 1 @ 19:34:19 PST by

Bulbasaur will always be my favorite. I leveled him ridiculously beyond what was necessary before taking on the Elite Four in Pokémon Red, but I never let him evolve. Ivysaur looked cool, but Venusaur just looked kind of fat. Like he wouldn't be able to dodge a devastating fire attack.

In the end, I can't seem to think of another Pokémon that I had formed a bond with like my first starter. He took down Brock and Misty quickly and even though my rival went with Charmander, my Bulbasaur had a few tricks up his sleeve to deal with the threat.... Wait, do Bulbasaurs even have sleeves?

Pokémon X & Y is out internationally on October 12th exclusively for 3DS, and we want to know who your favorite monster is. How did he or she help you become the very best? Even if you don't want to get all sappy and emotional about your favorite Pokémon, why not tell us your favorite monster, use the Disqus system to attach a pic and tell us of any special names you had for the Pokémon on your team.

Don't forget to check out our coverage of the Pokémon developer roundtable at E3 or our hands-on at PAX Prime.
