Tell GR: Who Do You Want in Sony Smash Bros. Game?

No Crash Bandicoot allowed.

Although it's not confirmed, it appears that Sony is biting Nintendo's style yet again, but this time with a Smash Bros. style mash-up of Sony franchise favorite characters. Since PlayStation has been around a long time, and many games (even third-party titles) are synonymous with PlayStation, we wanted to get your thoughts on who you would like to see in the upcoming fighter.

Tell GR which character(s) you'd like to see, no matter how obscure or popular. Just no Crash Bandicoot.

I'm afraid the Kevin Butler choice would be entirely too overpowered.

I'd love to see the basic knight from Demon's Souls though.

Ser Daniel Fortesque from Medievil

And the kid from SotC or Ico.

The Prince from Katamari Damacy.
His special attack could just be a giant Katamari that rolls across the screen and drags everyone off the edge if they're caught in it.

If this game had Kevin Butler as a character, no lie, I would run to the nearest Best Buy and get a PS3 with this game. And I mean that. This is not a ****ing joke. This is all Sony has to do to win me over.

I don't think it's the characters that have made SSB successful as much as the items and settings. There has to be cool pickups on visually & mechanically cool stages, like the Blade of Olympus from GoW dropping in a stage made up of one of the colossus from Shadow of the Colossus. If it's just another fighting game with "here is your non-interactive backdrop, now fight with no items or pickups" it will be boring. It'll need some humor too, because the kills/KOs in SSB end up being hilarious when playing with a group of friends.

Parappa the Rappa and The Prince of Katamari! One of the princes moves should involve the king too. It'd also be cool to see Abe of Oddworld or another character from that world.

I dont care if Crash bandicoot is not allowed We havent seen him in a long while and i want to see Crash bandicoot To be on that game. I say Crash and spyro and kratos and cole should be in it. nuff said.
