I never played Shenmue, but when I hear fans talk about it I can tell there was something special there.

Elements of those games live on today in new franchises with new gameplay and new graphics and new stories. We're all still left wondering what would have happened if the Shenmue story could have been finished. Here's Mega 64 with the scoop from GDC.
