Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

The BioShock Song

Posted on Wednesday, August 22 @ 15:30:00 Eastern by Keri_Honea
A BioShock fan had quite a lot of time on his hands recently. He wrote and sang a song dedicated to everyone's favorite under-the-sea utopia, and then he created a lovely music video to go along with it. It's amazing how something that sounds so 1940s and upbeat can fit the horrific setting of Rapture.

Would you kindly watch? Enjoy!

That was grand! Terribly so! Better than any of the music in the game, even.

Boy did the designers of the city make your mind wonder. Where every small detail told a novel. Similar to the early Resident Evils. You looked at every body, every blood stain, every message, and wondered what conspired. The designers let your mind do most of the work in imagining the life of Rapture; and they painted such a beautiful picture.

This was/is really probably one of the top 5 games/series of the decade.

The Bioshock music/lyrics was done by Brental Floss. He has a series of hilarious videos where he gives lyrics to 8/16bit videogames. His tribute to classic video game endings (set to the Super Mario World theme) is a must see on youtube.
