Wikileaks, though technically not a wiki, provides an easy means to disseminate information that some find it desirable to share against the wishes of those who find it desirable to keep secret. Aside from the morality of the leaking itself, such a service provides a look into the activities of...

DAILY MANIFESTO

The Download August 1st, 2013

Posted on Thursday, August 1 @ 14:45:00 Eastern by

Cloudberry Kingdom shall rule them all. That's the one game from this list that I'm actually playing this week, and it's the one game that I've omit from the lists below, because it's available on all of platforms aside from Steam. I'm far too lazy to type the same game title again and again, or even copy and paste for that matter. Being lazy rocks! Look out for my review of Cloudberry Kingdom soon when I get around to it.

Also, don't forget to pick up the new BioShock Infinite DLC Clash in the Clouds. You've waited long enough, haven't you?

I'm subbing in for Daniel this week, who is off in the lap of luxury, sipping pina colada poolside, giving not even one solitary fuck about GameRevolution... exactly what he's supposed to be doing while on vacation.

Here's the weekly download list:

Nintendo eShop

Do I really need to tell you it's for the 3DS when it has '3D' in the title?
  • Pikmin 3 - Wii U Available August 4th
  • Harvest Moon - Wii U
  • Kirby's Dream Land 2 - 3DS
  • My Farm 3D - 3DS
  • Family Kart 3D - 3DS
  • Bike Rider DX - 3DS

Xbox Live Arcade

If you're an Xbox LIVE Gold subscriber, yet another free game is available this week. Today until August 15th, you can pick up Crackdown for free. That really is the same value as PlayStation Plus!
  • Narco Terror - Xbox 360

PlayStation Network

If you need more on the newly added software for PlayStation platforms, PSLS's weekly PSN update is my source for The Download and you don't need to be a fanboy to visit.
  • Narco Terror - PS3
  • The Last Bounty Hunter - PS3
  • Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD - Vita
  • Puzzle by Nikoli V Slitherlink - Vita
Steam

The steam sale is over! Now I'm sad. Well, what's new this week? Still no Half-Life 3 information....
  • Take on Mars - PC
  • Rise of the Triad - PC
  • Narco Terror - PC
  • Cannon Brawl - PC
  • Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny - PC, Mac
  • Skulls of the Shogun - PC
  • Castlestorm - PC

iOS/Android Pick of the Week: Bloodmasque

If you think that Epic's Infinity Blade series looked good on iOS (and particularly the iPad), you'll be blown away by how visually stunning Square Enix's new vampire action-RPG is. With a decent story, and all the blood you can stomach, Bloodmasque is worth the asking price.

It even has a facial-mapping feature that allows you to take a selfie and import it onto your character's face. This sounds like a recipe for disaster, but it's much better than you think.
