iOS/Android App of the Week

Noble Nutlings

When three ex-Rovio developers broke off to form their own studio, named Boomlagoon, it was only a matter of time until their debut title made a splash on the App Store. Noble Nutlings is the product of their independance, giving players control over a physics-based racer that puts a heavy focus on smooth lines and fast times.

Each level of Noble Nutlings puts forward a series of jumps that players have to handle with finesse if they want to come out on the other side of the level with a 3-star score. In order to land safely on the other side of certain jumps, you'll need to use chili pepper energy to boost your speed.

What's more, as levels grow more and more difficult, you'll need to upgrade your cart to keep up. Luckily replaying levels adds to your coin-count, allowing experienced players to grind slowly to perfection. Of course, if you're impatient you can always pay for a boatload of coins right up front.

Lol, is that a prerequisite of EDF? If so, then I'll have to wait a little to play again as it's 10 AM right now.

Dawnstar looks pretty awesome, reminds me of Cowboy Bebop (which I'm sure the soundtrack was supposed to do). Also Droid Assault looks like fun, love the lighting effects with the droid's eyes.
