Yesterday, while cleaning up my media center, I found my copy of Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus, which I bought sometime before Christmas last year. I had been pretty excited about this game pre-release, what with it being the first "traditional", albeit shorter than usual,...

DAILY MANIFESTO

The Download July 11th, 2013

Posted on Thursday, July 11 @ 17:37:38 Eastern by

The Steam Summer Sale started today, so pretty much everything else stopped. I've already bought precisely 1 million games on the service, all of which only cost me a nickel... sooooo... yeah, I'm pretty set on Steam games.

If you're looking to branch your downloads out onto other platforms, I suggest Nintendo's eShop, which has a bunch of awesome 3DS software and a pretty sweet deal to celebrate Atlus's RPG next week. Steer clear of Xbox Live Arcade, but be sure to check out Deus Ex: The Fall on iOS. Here's you weekly list of all things downloadable:

Nintendo eShop

I might pick up Super Mario Bros 2 on 3DS this week, but for the most part I have a lot more Shin Megami Tensei IV coverage lined up for you guys, so look out for that.

Xbox Live Arcade

Here's the complete list of games posted to Xbox Live Arcade this week:
PlayStation Network

If you need more on the newly added software for PlayStation platforms, PSLS's weekly PSN update is my source for The Download and you don't need to be a fanboy to visit.
  • NCAA Footbal 14 - PS3
  • Binary Domain - PS3
  • History Legends of War: Patton - PS3, Vita
  • Aabs Animals - Vita
  • Coconut Dodge Revitalised - VIta
  • LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval's Journey - Vita
  • Total Recoil - Vita
  • Castle Shikigami 2 - PS2 Classic
Steam

We're in the summer sale, we're in the summer sale, and you're probably already buying some games.
  • Every day of Steam's Summer Sale will be detailed in a news post, which will be collected on our Steam tag page.

iOS Pick of the Week: Deus Ex: The Fall

Looking for a little hacking, third-person stealth, first-person shooting, and darkly-lit futurism? Deus Ex: The Fall has all of that in convenient mobile form, making Human Revolution into a tablet revolution of sorts. In the game, you play as Ben. Hi, Ben!

Ben's not happy because the future sucks. Sorry, Ben. Still, you can be happy because the future also has more Deus Ex gameplay from Eidos Montreal. Yay!! Your pain is our gain, Ben. Honestly I haven't played this yet, but it's definitely worthy of your time and money, mobile gamers. Look out for a full "mobile" review soon.
