The Download July 25th, 2013

Hey everyone! I'm about to head out for the weekend, but I'll be back on Monday before abandoning everyone again next Wednesday. It's summer time and I'm breaking out. You'll see the podcast from me tomorrow (if you haven't subscribed on iTunes or to our RSS feed) and then you'll see me on New Video Games next week. After that, we have some big events coming up fast.
Nick Tan and I will be at PAX Prime this year (if you're going too, be sure to send us a PM) and I've also got a super secret multiplayer reveal event to go to in the middle of August. The Fall video game season will soon be upon us, so enjoy these last few weeks of quiet before the busy release calendar and next-gen consoles! Here's the weekly download list:
This is where I talk about all the interesting 3DS eShop releases.
Xbox Live ArcadeOnly one game is debuting on Xbox Live Arcade this week, but you can just play more Assassin's Creed II if you're an Xbox Live Gold subscriber. Go ahead, enjoy!
If you need more on the newly added software for PlayStation platforms, PSLS's weekly PSN update is my source for The Download and you don't need to be a fanboy to visit.
The steam sale is over! Now I'm sad. Well, what's new this week? Still no Half-Life 3 information....
iOS/Android Pick of the Week: Super Stickman Golf 2
Super Stickman Golf 2 is freaking amazing. You can play against both iOS and Android opponents (all you need is a username) and a bunch of people are already playing it in the GameRevolution forums.
I have used44 to thank for introducing everyone to the game. This 2D minigolf game is good. It comes with a bunch of different levels, a full single-player campaign in addition to matchmaking and turn-based multiplayer, and a wealth of powerups to unlock. Just check out the trailer and then exchange multiplayer information in this thread.
Last week's Android Pick of the Week, Battle Dragons, is now available and free on Google Play.
