Disney Infinity 3.0 offers the first real taste of new Star Wars gaming content since the franchise was purchased by the Disney Corporation. This begs the question: Is it Han Sololicious? Or Jar Jar Bombad?

Windows 10 Review for Dummies

After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

DAILY MANIFESTO

The Download July 25th, 2013

Posted on Thursday, July 25 @ 18:45:01 PST by

Hey everyone! I'm about to head out for the weekend, but I'll be back on Monday before abandoning everyone again next Wednesday. It's summer time and I'm breaking out. You'll see the podcast from me tomorrow (if you haven't subscribed on iTunes or to our RSS feed) and then you'll see me on New Video Games next week. After that, we have some big events coming up fast.

Nick Tan and I will be at PAX Prime this year (if you're going too, be sure to send us a PM) and I've also got a super secret multiplayer reveal event to go to in the middle of August. The Fall video game season will soon be upon us, so enjoy these last few weeks of quiet before the busy release calendar and next-gen consoles! Here's the weekly download list:

Nintendo eShop

This is where I talk about all the interesting 3DS eShop releases.
  • Kid Icarus - Wii U VC
  • Chain Blaster - 3DS/Demo
  • Angler's Club: Ultimate Bass Fishing 3D - 3DS
  • PICROSS e2 - 3DS
  • Cute Witch! Runner - 3DS/DSiWare

Xbox Live Arcade

Only one game is debuting on Xbox Live Arcade this week, but you can just play more Assassin's Creed II if you're an Xbox Live Gold subscriber. Go ahead, enjoy!
  • Mars: War Logs - Xbox 360
PlayStation Network

If you need more on the newly added software for PlayStation platforms, PSLS's weekly PSN update is my source for The Download and you don't need to be a fanboy to visit.
  • The Smurfs 2 - PS3
  • Stealth Inc.: A Clone in the Dark - PSN/Vita
  • Zeno Clash 2 - PSN
  • Zone of the Enders HD Edition - PSN
  • Zone of the Enders The 2nd Runner HD Edition - PSN
  • Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational - PSN
  • Do Not Fall - PSN
  • Ben 10 PSP Bundle - PSP
  • Metal Slug Double X - Vita/PSP Free for PS+
Steam

The steam sale is over! Now I'm sad. Well, what's new this week? Still no Half-Life 3 information....
  • Mercenary Kings - PC
  • The Raven - Legacy of a Master Thief - PC/Mac/Linux
  • Ittle Dew - PC
  • Rugby Challenge 2 - PC
  • Teleglitch: Die More Edition - PC/Mac/Linux
  • NASCAR The Game: 2013 - PC
  • Elsword - PC
  • Shadowrun Returns - PC/Mac
  • Citadels - PC

iOS/Android Pick of the Week: Super Stickman Golf 2

Super Stickman Golf 2 is freaking amazing. You can play against both iOS and Android opponents (all you need is a username) and a bunch of people are already playing it in the GameRevolution forums.

I have used44 to thank for introducing everyone to the game. This 2D minigolf game is good. It comes with a bunch of different levels, a full single-player campaign in addition to matchmaking and turn-based multiplayer, and a wealth of powerups to unlock. Just check out the trailer and then exchange multiplayer information in this thread.

Last week's Android Pick of the Week, Battle Dragons, is now available and free on Google Play.
