DAILY MANIFESTO

The NES Guitar

Posted on Tuesday, December 14 @ 12:42:45 Eastern by Blake_Morse

I'll be honest, the one and only reason I want this guitar so bad is because of the look. With such awesome features as a, "Reused standard guitar neck" and, "Strap Buttons", it's hard not to want it. Throw in the fact that it, "Stays in tune really well" and you've got yourself a sale.

But what it lacks in features, it makes up for in the fact that it completely bleeds style (It's an NES guitar for Christ's sake!) and that you could potentially put some on-board effects on it and power them on and off through the "power" and "reset" buttons on the console. I figure with this and my fancy pink Hello Kitty Fender Strat, I'd be unstoppable. Now if only it played Bubble Bobble.

Although the first one has already sold, you can still put in a request for a custom NES guitar of your own, but for $150 plus $20 S&H, don't expect this baby to sound like a Les Paul. Check it out in action in the vid below. And if you do pick one up, please play something better than Cheryl Crow and Marilyn Manson with it.
