The Newest Game That Hurts Your Kids

Drugs in Fallout 3? Violence in GTA? Sex scenes in Mass Effect? Gay marriage in Fable II? Nope, according to Elisabeth Hasselbeck on The View, the problem is Wii Fit calling your kids fat. You know... because they're fat.
I have unfortunately been made aware of this show where old ladies sit around yammering. I'm not sure where or when it intruded into my consciousness, but at least I still had to look up the names of everyone who is not Whoopie Goldberg.
Hey dimwit, don't you think the health perils of obesity might just outweigh any self-esteem issues arising from a video game pointing out that they're fat? Because Wii Fit is, well, a scale. Actually it's four scales. It weighs things, that's all it does, and if it says the kid is fat, the adults in his life should help him lose some weight.
You know, by something like... playing Wii Fit, and letting it honestly track his weight loss progress. Sheesh.
Joy Behar, the only sensible one at the table, at least points this out, bat gains little traction. Easier to blame the game.

| Your kid is fat, make him do something and he'll be not fat. |

| These hens will never stop clucking. They fail consistently to ever reach a point or justify their, ahem, views. |

| No, Woopi, actually, it was made for everyone. The wii is a shame console in this generation, and Wii fit is no different. Yeah, it'll tell you you're fat, but, uh.chances are.you probably are. Seriously, if you have the nerve to complain that the scale itself is wrong, you need to stop playing games and do some real exercise, not mess around on the Wii. |

For all these hens cackle, I ain't seen no eggs yet.
That group of shrieking know it all harpies can just go away--but brain-dead liberal housewives gobble up whatever bull it is they're peddling today, and take whatever they say as Gospel. Like when Rosie O'Donnell outed herself as a 9/11 Truther, the *******es in the audience cheered and applauded her.
The View is a waste of a good time slot. |

| Well, WiiFit called my girlfriend fat. After that she played it everyday on top of normal exercise. Now she's back to the weight she was when I met her and WiiFit says she's Normal. It goes both ways stupid menopausal bi**hes! |

| I quote a picture of Dr. Phil generated on the great Internet, "You're Fat. I won't sugarcoat it, because you'll just eat that too." |

IF IT SAYS YOU ARE OBESE IS BECAUSE YOU ARE AND STOP STARING AT THE TV AND CRYING AND GO DO SOME WORKOUT YOU FATASS!!!!!!
Seriously though, I don't know about USA, but in my country, if you are fat, people around you will let you know, especially your friends/classmates, and not in a kind way, so by the time you purchase and play the game you should be well aware of that and thus it wouldn't hurt you =P |

| Here's some advice for the kiddies--one out of three children in the US is obese. Look at two of your friends--if they're skinny, IT'S YOU. Get off the damn couch and do something. Is WiiFit perfect? No, probably not. Is it better than nothing? Definitely. If you're so thin-skinned that you'll get upset over an INANIMATE OBJECT calling you fat, you have issues that can't be solved by a lawsuit and you will never make it in the real world. |

| Oh ok, They aren't obese. Just calorie challenged. You can either come right out with it or sugar coat it. Either way, It is what it is! Why don't people get PO'ed when their doctors tell them their children are overweight. This is pretty much the same thing. Wii fit is basically using the same criteria that doctors use when it comes to calculating weight. What's the difference? Hey Elisabeth. Sometimes the truth hurts a little! Instead of whining about it, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! That's what being a responsible parent is all about. Giving your child the tools to be successful in life and being a productive member of society Yep, that includes teaching them how to take care of themselves and developing healthy habits. |
