While we're on the brink of Gamescom and the Fall gaming season, someone's decided it's a good idea to launch a new ARG. Citizen Skywatch is an ARG based at citizenskywatch.com, a domain registered by Take-Two Interactive. The phsyical dominion for the domain is the same as found when searching for Rockstar's website. I'll go ahead and spoil it by letting you know that it's (probably) centered around 2K's reboot of XCOM.

Before we get to the rest of the headlines, I'll just clarify that GameRevolution's The News will now wrap up every headline that we actually DID cover during the day, in addition to those we may have missed. With the busiest Fall season in quite some time upon us, we'll be bringing you more news than our front page can handle. Here are you headlines:

Sebastian reported that a new tablet PC was coming to market. Fusion Garage plans to make waves in the iPad dominated market with a new Operating System.

Amazon's Summer Road Trip Handheld Gaming Event is set to help you stock your newly purchased Nintendo 3DS library, including a 25% discount on Ocarina of Time 3D.

The Xbox 360 used to have a nice glossy finish to it... You know, the kind with lots of finger prints all over it in seconds. This fall, that model will be phased out in favor of a matte finish across all Xbox 360 S consoles.

Mr. Freeze joins Batman's rogues gallery in Batman: Arkham City.

Vaporware title, Eight Days, was shown off near the PS3's unveiling, but hasn't been seen or heard from since. That changed today as gameplay leaked out and put the title's cover-shooting styling on show.

Borderlands 2 will be on of the first games to support the cloud save functionality on Xbox 360. We'll be sure to bring you more information during Gamescom and PAX Prime.

Epic Games isn't taking kindly to those of you spoiling Gears of War 3. With a game finished with so much time to share, leaked copies of the game were an inevitability Epic Games hope to combat with some stern punishment.

Agent artwork also leaked out today, ahead of Gamescom and PAX. The long in development game from Rockstar is consistently pointed to as a PS3 exclusive to end the war between consoles. The environments leaked out show a mix of around-the-world styles.

Dorkly nails Sonic again, this time without the bad-advice agent.

As Skyrim looms larger on the release horizon, more comparisons are being drawn between the upcoming Bethesda game and it's predecessors. Check out the jumps between Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim's character models.
