Remember back when Nintendo announced that the Wii was going to be on the receiving end of a redesign? Or more like a de-design... Well, the Mario Kart Wii Bundle managed to escape that fate, but not through the end of the year. Nintendo sent out a press release today letting everyone know that the "ultimate Mario Kart Wii bundle" was on its way. You know... ultimate as in sucky. The best Wii bundle will forever be the Wii Sports Resort, Wii Motion Plus bundle that sat on store shelves for a time before Mario Kart Wii took over. Good luck finding that one this holiday season.

Apparently the Razer Blade, revealed at PAX this year, was a little too sharp. Two prototype units cut their own ties and walked out of the hardware manufacturer's Research and Development department. That means two of the high-tech gaming laptops are hitting the Castro in San Francisco... maybe engaging in a little deviant behavior. Valued at over $2,800, the company is looking for knowledgeable people to send info to cult@razerzone.com.

Minecraft went gold today! I have no idea what that means anymore. Minecraft has been readily available for what feels like years, but with Minecon just around the corner and the ceremonial "pushing final code live" things are getting a little crazy over in Notch's brain.

Asura's Wrath is coming... it's angry... seriously. Look at that FUCKING BOX ART!!! HOLY CRAP I'M FUCKING MAD!!! ALL OF THESE GOD DAMN PREORDER BONUSES ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY I'M GOING TO FUCKING SCRE-- OK, I can't keep it up... Best Buy, Gamestop, and Amazon each have different bonuses for new Asura's Wrath Preorders. Capcom's beat-em-up is set for release on Xbox 360 and PS3 February 21st, 2012.

I'd rather have them release Asuka's Wrath and kick Shinji in the balls until sterilized.

And am I the only one who thinks that every step the Minecraft people have made toward "finishing" the game has been in the wrong direction? I mean, what have they done in the last year that's made a big difference? Really?
