E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

  • Soul Calibur V's guest fighter, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, manages to squeeze himself into the game's Japanese box art. Are assassins highly recognizable in the far east? Haha, silly me. I totally forgot about Nin-- *gets stabbed from behind*
  • Ignoring the fact that I killed myself off in that last headline, IO Interactive made headlines today by announcing that it was splitting its focus between the already announced Hitman: Absolution and brand new IP. Niels Jorgensen told reporters that IO will collaborate with newly opened development studio Square Enix Montreal to bring another new Hitman to gamers while also developing a brand new intellectual property. Three IO employees will be relocating to ensure the new Square studio takes care of the bald-headed baby.
  • Speaking with Joystiq, Chair creative director Donald Mustard assured fans of downloadable outing Shadow Complex that the sequel to that game is somewhere down the pipeline:

    When we sat down to figure out what we wanted to do after Infinity Blade, and we started to wonder "Do we want to do Infinity Blade 2?", it wasn't about "Do we want to make more money?" it was about "Do we have more to say in this genre?"

    I can't answer those questions for you Donald. Now quit dodging this! WHERE THE HELL IS SHADOW COMPLEX 2?!
