The People Speak - A Good Day To Speak

When we first started The People Speak, it involved a nomination system that didn't exactly grab the GameRevolution commentariate. That's OK. One thing we understand is that convenience and ease of use are keys to success in the internet age. Why bother nominating your fellow commenters when you could just... I don't know... NOT nominate them? That option seems a lot easier.

To improve on the original idea (which was basically just that our community is fucking awesome and people need to recognize that), The People Speak is now entirely determined by GameRevolution's comment rating system.

Every wednesday, every comment in the past 7 days will be tallied up and the 5 highest rated comments will be featured here, in The People Speak. That means all you have to do is rate the comments you read with a thumbs up or a thumbs down.

Pretty simple right? Staff members are not excluded from our weekly list, but to ensure this week doesn't repeat itself, it might be a good idea to down vote everything I say. Let's get to this week's top comments:

Just picked up Far Cry 3 and I'm loving it. You know a game is good when you stay up until 6 in the morning playing it, only to get lectured by your gf about waking up too late in the day to spend quality time with her... And then do the same thing the next 2 nights in a row!

Finally done playing nice with the family, now time for Halo 4, Black Ops 2 and Skyrim. Plus gotta get around the humble indie bundle at some point. And playstation all stars once I round some people up!

Of course the classy thing to do when one wins the competition that one is hosting, in order to circumvent cries of cheating, is to graciously refuse first place and award second place the win.

Seeing as how you're such a classy gentleman Dan, I graciously accept the first place award. Ahh it feels good to be the best.

I don't think I'll ever win this award. I don't usually leave clever comments because I view these articles in the middle of the night. By then, all the good comments are taken and I'm either left with "That Sucks" or "I like Pie".
