For Obsidian's crowdfunded love letter to Infinity Engine games like Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate, I was impressed by its willingness to pull back the curtain and let me see the machinery behind it.

Yesterday, while cleaning up my media center, I found my copy of Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus, which I bought sometime before Christmas last year. I had been pretty excited about this game pre-release, what with it being the first "traditional", albeit shorter than usual,...

The People Speak - Commenters Unchained

Posted on Wednesday, May 1 @ 18:25:30 Eastern by

Never mind Camelot Unchained-gate. It's definitely in the same stratosphere as The Secret World review, but what's next? GameRevolution has always been about truth, justice, and tellin' it like it is, but it's difficult to figure out the next target. It's like the hammer of Thor has come down on two groups of excited fans, so is that what we should expect to follow? I hope so. It's way too much fun.

This week's top comment comes from Chunibrow, one of our TPS Report darlings. I would tell you the secret to Chuni's popularity, but then I'd have to kill you. If you want to land in GameRevolution's top-comment showcase each week, just let us know what you're thinking on any article and then spread the commenting karma around. The best way to get love is to give love... or something. I think there's another way with money but that's different than what I'm talking about.

Whatever You Do, Don't Support Camelot Unchained

18 Thumbs Up - 4 Thumbs Down

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the sequel to the "Secret World Review", the most butthurt GR thread of all time! Can we acheive such epic levels of butthurt? Can we even surpass it?! Keep those whiney posts coming and who knows how far we'll go?!

I don't know how but BigTruckSeries is still trolling with unrelated bullshit. Why doesn't GR have an "ignore" or a "banhammer"?

Tell GR: Franchise Face-Off: Madden Vs. Call of Duty

10 Thumbs Up - 1 Thumbs Down

At least Madden doesn't pretend to be a whole completely different thing like every Call of Duty does, which basically just changes the skins of weapons and the era/theatre the said war is in. Madden is consistent, with noted little changes here and there, and will be along well after Call of Duty dies, imo. The worst thing Madden has ever done was take out the ambulance that ran over players to get to the one injured player like it did back in the old genesis/snes days.
