With the launch of the A38s, Astro has clearly shown that they can rock our eardrums off even if we aren’t sitting in our living rooms.

With Bungie's leap to next-generation platforms and interstellar space closer to home, I wonder if E.T. is out there somewhere.

While younger gamers have flocked to the brand, more mature consumers remain reluctant to jump on board. Skylanders move forward with trappable enemies, though I doubt it’ll turn stubborn heads.

I have and will continue to have a place in my heart for Nintendo. In fact, my first console was a Super Nintendo. The video game market has changed drastically since the early '90s and it seems like what once was platinum is more so along the lines of silver now. Nintendo has always been...

[Updated] The People Speak Deluxe - Dressed to Impress

Posted on Friday, April 11 @ 08:40:00 Eastern by

Between Peter Molyneux, Pro Gaming, Xbox Live security flaws and the fall out from April Fools, this week was rife with opportunities for our community to react in the comments. After-curfew skateboarding has never been this extreme. Got Carnage? Hell, I couldn't help but let a BigTruckSeries smack down in this week's showcase.

What will the next week hold for The People Speak Deluxe? Same GR time, same GR channel:

New Website Compares How You'd Spend Federal Tax Dollars With How They're Actually Spent
OdiousLupous

"Too many people, living too damn long. I say we breed wolves... dont need a curfew for cities anymore. After 11pm we let the wolves roam the streets. Decrease in crime, medical spending, decrease human population, clear up rodent and stray populations, 7/11s will now have triage centers just in case, late nite skateboarders will wear chainmail."

Amazing Spider-Man 2 Features Carnage, Black Cat, And Kingpin
Sliverstorm

"Definitely has not reached The Largest Possible Amount Of Carnage"

Genders, Plural, Are Important for Game Development, Hashtag

BigTruckSeries: "If that had been mee, there would be no stains and she'd be gagging."

Heath_Hindman: "Well then you should tell President Clinton how skilled you are at giving blowjobs and maybe he'll give you a call."

BigTruckSeries: "You have a sick mind. You should have read enough of my comments to know that I am an Alpha Male and as an alpha male I am the antithesis of homosexuality and feminism of any form. If I had an army behind me I'd overthrow the liberal agenda tonight."

Heath_Hindman: "All without getting a single stain on your dress!"

Molyneux: Kinect "Feels More and More Like a Joke"
cusman

"First time I agree with Peter Moleneux. I wont buy Kinect after already having given it a chance on X360 and finding it not really worthy technology to be a mandatory include (even while it goes largely unused).

"Voice-controls if they really wanted it, could be done with a microsoft attached to controller and work better than it ever will being near the TV/speakers and far from the users. I think the Nintendo Wii Speak proved that."

Editor's Corner: Pro Gamers Are Not Athletes, But So What?
jamesmastwerwei

"my views on athletes and their respective sports are that it needs to require both substantial physical and skill components. When i say physical i mean that having an athletic advantage will also give you an advantage in the sport, for example when we talk about soccer, football, basketball, boxing, gymnastics etc. you can have all the skill in the world, but if you won't be able to compete at the highest level anymore once your athletic prowess fades. On the other hand when i see a whole bunch of overweight seniors curling at the olympics, i don't consider that a sport. Requires talent and practice? yes. but so does beer pong. I mean technically speaking playing an instrument requires using your body and insane amounts of practice and skill, but they aren't considered athletes either."

Five-Year-Old Discovers Hole in Xbox Live Security
Greebonicky

"I hear a lot of 5 year olds on Xbox Live talking about holes, but they ain't in the security."

Editor's Corner: Molyneux Is Right About Removing Kinect
joecross **nominated by Fieperskaivu

Fieperskaivu: "Overall though my Xbox One is for gaming of course and I've been very happy with the graphics/exclusives/support so far (monthly patches). I'll definitely be getting a PS4/Wii U at some point though, once there are solid exclusives out."

joecross: "Can't disagree there. We go where the games go, right? Here's hoping we get a lot of great ones this generation, one every platform."
