The People Speak - Just Like The Old One
Posted on Wednesday, September 4 @ 22:59:44 PST by Daniel Bischoff
Take a dash of intelligence, an ounce of attitude, and some ground cumin because I think it smells nice, and you've got the ingredients for excellent comments all around. Don't worry if your GameRevolution soufflé has gone flat. Our weekly TPS Report is here to make sure the dinner party goes right.
Of course, I don't know what kind of dinner party you wanna go to where commenters like NovaKnight21 are just trashing the place with wisdom. NovaKnight takes both the first and second place position in this week's The People Speak, so why not click on his name above to send a comrade request (or finding him in the comments to follow him via Disqus).
Once you're done with that, be sure to let us know what you thought of GameRevolution's PAX Prime coverage in the comments. We still have more hands-on previews and culture from the show, so keep it locked here for more stuff to tie you over until Grand Theft Auto V is released.

Microsoft: "We Have A More Complete Value Proposition Than Our Competitors
9 Thumbs Up - 0 Thumbs Down
So he's saying "the games WE make are better than the games THEY make" which is all fine and dandy, that's competition for you. But it sounds like he's ignoring the fact that MS is losing sight of it's key demographic (gamers) by saying "our console does more shit!", citing entertainment (Netflix, hulu, vudu, what have you which I'm pretty sure Sony supports as well) and Kinect, which was kind of a mess and now bears the stigma of being a creepy always-on spy camera. Who cares? My blender can also shred paper, but that's not what I look for in a blender, I have a specific device for that already. In my opinion if MS wants to jump into ring and have some real weight behind their punches they need to drop the focus on all of this superfluous crap, and sink those resources into making a BADASS gaming machine and the titles to go with it. Competitive pricing helps too.
The People Speak wraps up the five highest-rated (sorta) comments for the past 7 days. Anyone can offer their beautiful words on the week's news, reviews, previews, and topics... all you have to do is register for an account, comrade! Don't forget to down vote the competition!
