The People Speak - Origins

Posted on Wednesday, August 21 @ 19:00:00 Eastern by

When the world played Dragon Age 2, it split into two very distinct camps: people who felt OK with writing hate-speech about a person they've never met and, you know, people who didn't feel that way. I'm here to tell you that these two people don't need to be segregated... unless that hateful side is going to keep using such fowl language.

You know who's a friend to foul language and game developers everywhere? 213EDD who scores this week's top spot with a few words of wisdom going out to anyone with a penchant for become indie darling spotlight hogs. You can click EDD's name above and send him a comrade request, furthering your grip on power through subtle internet friendships.

Then be sure to check out our GameRevolution Satisfaction Survey and our Grand Theft Auto V giveaway by clicking the banners below. For details on how to see your name in lights by way of the weekly TPS Report, try asking your fellow comments. I'm sure they'll be helpful.

Dragon Age Writer Leaves Bioware After Harassment From Fans

19 Thumbs Up - 3 Thumbs Down

They need to stay anonymous, especially when it comes to internet communication. Just look at IceFrog. That dude has been making DOTA and DOTA 2 for years and no one even knows who he is. This is a good thing considering how serious people are when playing his games.

However if you're going to not stay anonymous prepare for criticism regardless of how good/bad it is. This has nothing to do with what race, sexual orientation, or sexual preference, people will hate you if they know you.
