Finally Broke My Crowdfunding Rule
By oblivion437
Posted on 01/12/15
I've had a long-standing rule to avoid getting involved in any sort of crowdfunded activities.  I didn't donate to Shadowrun or Wasteland, but I did buy and enjoy both of them (I'm plugging both of those games right now, just so you know they're good).  I haven't...

The People Speak - Wii Won't Stop, Wii Can't Stop

Posted on Wednesday, October 30 @ 18:12:49 Eastern by

How can you escape a world with invisible walls? It'd be impossible since you could never make out the correct path, you'd be caught forever, with a constant view of the great wide world outside torturing you until the very bitter end. You know, until the moment, that very last second before someone hits the power button and all is lost.

Thankfully with comments, wisdom and truth are never lost. This week's TPS Report leader is Sourdeez. Say hello to Sourdeez, everybody.

"Hi Sourdeez."

Now click on his name and add him as a comrade. Good job, ladies and gentlemen. See you next week for even more top comments. Don't forget to answer our halloween themed Tell GR and tell us the scariest game you've ever played.

Tell GR: What Game Has Scared You The Most?

8 Up - 0 Down

Resident Evil: Nemesis. Not legitimately scared, but whenever Nemesis slammed through a random wall and came at me (bro), my heart rate always jumped a few beats per minute. And the stupid fucking crows from RE2. Resident Evil, what happened to you? You used to be cool.

Are We Too Easily Impressed By Intelligent Games?

8 Up - 0 Down

You are an amazing writer.
I think the ideal of a game that "perfectly balances both its gameplay and its narrative" presents a false dichotomy. To me, the best games are the ones that entwine the two inseparably and achieve something that is truly unique to the medium.

The People Speak wraps up the five highest-rated (sorta) comments for the past 7 days. Anyone can offer their beautiful words on the week's news, reviews, previews, and topics... all you have to do is register for an account, comrade! Don't forget to down vote the competition!
