Windows 10 Review for Dummies

After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

Posted on Thursday, March 27 @ 18:03:35 PST by

The People Speak Deluxe is still getting its footing as it takes on even more of the community's input. This week, we're focusing on the comments section. You made The People Speak what it is... well, after the forums did. You know, come to think of it I don't know which came first. I like my eggs scrambled, not philosophical if you know what I'm mean.... Just enjoy this week, commenters. It's yours, own it.

Oculus Rift Should Not Have Been Open for Sale

A real lesson for anyone who gives money to kickstarter projects. You might just be building up someone else's company so they can sell it for massive profit, still not having delivered the product you helped them fund. Caveat emptor.

Bleszinski: Notch’s Cancelation of Minecraft VR a “Bratty and Petty Move”

As a follow-up, not that anyone should read his blog, but the first lines of the post pretty much say exactly where he's coming from--his selfish little wallet: "First things first - I’ve been very open with the fact that I invested in Oculus at an early round. I stand to make a very sizable chunk of money from this acquisition." --Cliffy B.

Titanfall Review
Ric Masters

Some pretty intelligent discourse going on here... I often wish all forms of entertainment were prone to the same manner of dialogue.

"Thomas Pynchon is a straight-up BOSS Mason & Dixon is his MASTERPIECE!1! 90/100 from Library Journal 92/100 from the New York Times 89/100 from Review of Contemporary Fiction Yet this reviewer gives it a 60?? Really???

Looks like someone is a butt-hurt fanboy. Look at his points -- "Difficult read" Yeah, if you're stupid. Reading is supposed to be challenging. Read some fucking Dr. Suess if you want easy.

"Meandering Plot" It's called SCOPE! Maybe you should have taken your ritalin because obviously your too ADD to grasp a story of such richness.

And "arcane language" What is that all about??! The story takes place in the 18th century! Are people supposed to be all "OMG LOL!!' for you to understand it??!

This is a 85/100 novel AT THE VERY LEAST Pynchon is a BOSS This reviewer is a FAIL on every level. Butt hurt fanboys SHOULD NOT be writing reviews. I doubt he even read the book, cos if he had, he'd know how RIDICULOUS a 60/100 score makes him seem"
