E3: PC or rather about the lack of it
By Starling
Posted on 06/15/13
E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

The People Speak: Left Behind

Posted on Saturday, May 21 @ 14:25:55 Eastern by

OK, so [Ed: a few] Christians were wrong. What religion do we follow instead? Buddhism? Nooo.... If you're not dead yet, maybe you've made it into the top five user comments, forums posts, reviews and blogs of the week:

Manifesto: L.A. Noire's First Mission with GR Commentary

Comment by daverabbit.

@sandineyes: I think we are all in unison that no one enjoys awkward fingering.

"Leaked" Project Cafe Games List Is All Kinds of Stupidity

Comment by Fuzia.

Halo: Cafe Evolved
Diablo 3.5: Cafe Diablo
(With exclusive content)
Uncharted Vs. InFamous: Street Brawl
Actually, I'd buy the console for those 3... hands down.

Manifesto: How Do You Spend Your Gaming Time?

Comment by drathbone.

I use gamefly to get single player games (IE la. noire, batman AA etc) and buy multiplayer games that I play when I'm between single player games. I save hundreds a year in single player games using gamefly and I also play some games I never would have otherwise and get a chance to test multiplayer games in case they suck or I don't like it before I buy, so it works out pretty well.

User Review: Brink

Bots on your team are bullet sponges with A.D.D. and when you are playing against them on anything harder than easy your going up against Seal team Six going after Bin laden. Not to mention if your playing with them on the challenges they become Kindergarten Special-ed kids vs. The Inhuman Nazi Robot Death Squad. I honestly hope this gets fixed in later patches.

User Blog: Game Revolution, a better place...

Written by Kijan.

I have a lot of fond memories from here, which is why I wish to make it a better place. Gaming has become mainstream these days, gamers are not perceived as they once were (basement dwelling, pizza and Mountain Dew filled, amoebic slobs that are incapable of basic social functioning) though some of them are still giving us a bad name (looks at the rabid PS3 and Xbox 360 dogs while the Wii ones piss on them both). Internet sites about our hobby have flourished, if you seek information about gaming you have a wide palette to choose from.

And this is a problem for GR – competition.

Do you dream of applause? How about riches, praise, and the occasional congratulations? You can be featured in Game Revolution's weekly The People Speak post. Every weekend, GR will highlight the best comments, forum posts, user blogs and user reviews. All you have to do is participate in Game Revolution's lively and vibrant community. Yeah, lively and vibrant are good words to use. You can also nominate in The People Speak's Forum Thread! If you get featured in The People Speak a lot, you'll have a chance at some swag from the GR compound. Don't like to participate but still want a shot at some swag? Nominating comments, posts, reviews and blogs also gets you an entry into our quarterly The People Speak drawing. Send danielrbischoff a PM or send an e-mail to daniel@gamerevolution.com.

"The Christians were wrong"? Uh..... I believe the correct answer is "a couple Christians were wrong," because most Christians agreed that the movement was idiotic. Please think before you speak.

I'll have to agree with admelta here Dan. I'm a Christian myself and did not even know that doomsday was supposed to be today. Can't throw us all in the same basket. :)

Woah dude that was harsh, just because we have a little bit of faith and we defend itSuddenlly we become satan of the gaming world. Thats nice to see such tolerance, all we were doing was saying "Dont lump us in with those nutballs"

@SweetHat Dude I was only poking fun at the top 2 posts as I found them comical, nothing against people having faith or believing whatever ever they want to believe as long as no one gets hurt then there is honestly no problem

Who says I'm offended? I still don't think that you can lump everyone into the same basket. It's like saying that all Republican, Democrats, Atheists, Muslims, Christians blah, blah, blah are idiots because of a few. :P

Apologies but when you said "Please think before you speak" to what was quite clearly a sarcastic/light hearted post it gives off the impression that you were offended...

The last part cracks me up given you're defending a religion that for years did everything they could to stop people thinking for themselves, and it's whole basis is to not question or think, just accept what's preached

I'm a Christian with a sense of humor, especially about my faith. I've never had a problem with gays, women, muslims, jews, so on and so forth. Still, it gets a little old that I can't even defend my faith against "little jokes" that would be called bigoted/racist/ignorant if made about literally any other group on the planet, without being told to "lighten up".

@Icepick, boba1701: I was really only writing parallel to the clip I posted. I hope you guys don't take too much offense and know that I understand faith can be a serious subject. Yes, a couple of Christians spoiled it for everyone.

@danielrbischoff - thanks for responding and we're cool. I actually wasn't so offended by what you wrote as much as I was with the anti-Christian rhetoric that had started building up in the comments section.
