The People Speak: Mr. Genius

Posted on Saturday, June 25 @ 10:23:02 Eastern by

Before we get into this week's top 5, with my personal favorite from Klandathu, I wanted to remind you all to head to our weekly Haiku Fridays contest is throwing out $20 for the PSN and it has details on our upcoming Team Fortress 2 community playdate! On to the top 5 comments of the week, because no one nominated anything (with the exception of sliverstorm) and I'm picking comments.

Fallout: New Vegas Sings Old World Blues July 19th

Could be worse: they could have chainsaws attached to them as well.

Wii U Not Arriving Until At Least Q2 2012

Comment by xxmrcyanidexx.

I think timing is everything for Nintendo. It's apparent that Nintendo can't compete directly against Microsoft or Sony. One reason Nintendo has been doing so well lately was that it was the only motion control game in town for numerous years. That bubble has burst. They need something else. What's working against them is they've been catering to casual gamers and old people. This new system confuses me, and I am neither casual nor old. Imagine what old casual gamers are thinking.

If they could get their **** together, answer people's questions, make clear what this system will have and what it will do, and get this out by this Christmas, they'd be in business. The time is now. Sony's hack has offput a lot of people and Microsoft's insistence on that damn Kinect is really rubbing some people wrong (after 8 hours of work, I don't want to come home and shake anything). Maybe get back some of the people they put off with their shovelware.

D+ For Duke... Also For Demo

I honestly really enjoyed this game as well, I can see where the hate comes from for some of the reviewers, but reviews are just a persons opinions towards a game and thankfully everyone doesn't always share the same taste. Personally I really enjoyed the game and have played it through several times since it's release last week. It's certainly not the most polished game out there, but I still enjoyed it.

Call of Duty Elite Gets Free Features Detailed

Comment by TheJx4.

Why hello there Mr. Genius, if you could read, all of those things are free. The very same features offered by Bungie. So, if this service is shitty, then Bungie Pro must be shitty also? Or are there more flaws in your logic that I missed.

Anyways: 30 seconds? Still. Jesus christ man. Looks like I'll be using the streaming option.
Can't wait for the beta. Sue me.

Sonic Turns 20 Today

He's aged...horribly.

We either have a short attention span or are too lazy to nominate someone because the feature is great. Maybe a "nominate" icon next to the "like or dislike" icons to make our jobs easier?? Don't know...

Crap, forgot to hit the "reply to comment" button. See, stuff has to be half-digested in this day and age.
