After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

Girl Dies of Heart Attack, Mainstream Media Blames Xbox 360

Comment by stylekiller.

Look a human being died and someone is exploiting it, which is the egregious matter here. This is the result of 24 hour news channels and the need to have "filler". I mean, what if GR had to post reviews and articles at a constant stream, in a television format of course, wouldn't the quality of the subject slide? And that's what news media is now: a parody of itself because of pressure. When John Stewart is correcting T.V. news reporters on a constant basis then they really are slipping.

Ubisoft Returns with DRM in Driver: San Francisco

I haven't played Driver since....Driver 2, and it was fun for 10 minutes until I realized I couldn't run over pedestrians. What's the point, really?

Nintendo Fears Loss of Trust from 3DS Owners, Gives Free Games [UPDATE]

Comment by OdiousLupous. Nominated by danielrbischoff.

Like the abusive parent who buys their kid with the black eye an ice cream... aw hell, Nintendo I can never stay mad at you. My childhood memories, Mario, Duck Hunt, Zelda, Contra, Megama....well there go the tears now.

R.I.P. Red Faction Series

Comment by tinymhg. Nominated by Josh_Laddin.

There is no such thing as dead in video gaming. Zombies, Vampires, and all the undead crawling out from every grave in the cemetery should have taught us that by now. Red Faction will live again someday maybe not in the same form as we have known it before, but it will rise again. Doubt my words Double Dragon has been brought back to life in 3D, Duke Nukem was once thought to be dead and gone, how many times has Pac-Man been dig back up? Sure it may take awhile but you can’t keep a good game down or buried, and the same holds true for many a bad ones too.

Sony Patents Interactive PlayStation Doll

This makes all those times I was stripping barbie down to her formless skin as a child seem invalid.
