This Black Ops Kill Is Representative of Retail Sales

If you were looking for a visual representation of Call of Duty: Black Ops Day 1 sales, I think this off-the-wall, off-the-ground tomahawk kill has you covered.

Activision announced day one sales figures for the latest Call of Duty and the numbers are... big. Last year's Modern Warfare 2 made $310 Mil with 4.7 Million copies sold in the first day.

Black Ops has made $360 Million in its first day by moving 5.6 Million copies.

Bobby Kotick had this to say:

“There has never been another entertainment franchise that has set opening day records for two consecutive years and we are on track to outperform last year’s five-day global sales record of $550 million.”

If you aren't impressed by those numbers, maybe you'll be just as bored by this insane kill.

    I hate throwing knives and I hate stopping power. I don't want to buy Black Ops because I'm afraid I'll be killed in some fantastically asinine way every 5 seconds.

    now, i'm no chuck norris, but i can tell you for certain that there's no way i would die from a tomahawk to the calf. why the hell isn't there hit detection with knives or tomahawks? that's ridiculous...
