This Dragon Ball Game is not Worth $2k

Posted on Friday, November 19 @ 19:31:55 Eastern by Blake_Morse
Ebay seller legendsandmoreinc, has graciously decided to re-list his auction for a sealed copy of the rare Playstation 1 game, Dragon Ball GT Final Bout for the reasonable amount of $2,000 American. That's marked down from his original offering of $7,000. No, that's not a typo, this guy's just nuts and proves it in his long winded rant that gets way more personal than an ebay auction ever should.:

"I want you all to realize that I am NOT just another store uploading another GENERIC auction! That’s why you WONT see me pulling stuff from Wikipedia and TRYING to sound like I know what I am talking about. I am using my Aunts eBay store for the BUYERS PIECE OF MIND knowing that he/she is NOT dealing with a FRAUD, but rather an honest and thoroughly knowledgeable collector. If I had the monetary funds needed to finish up my Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology (I’m a Pre-Med in a financially unstable economy… BAD combination), my BRAND NEW COPY of GT Final Bout would never be up for grabs! Like I said before, I searched and searched for years and (got cheated out of close to a thousand dollars, that’s right $1000.00 USD) in pursuit of an original U.S. Copy of the 1997 Release (NOT THE ATARI RE-RELEASE from 2004)."

Sorry dude, but anyone who'd go through all that just for this particular game probably shouldn't hold the title of "Dr.". I've played Final Bout and I can tell you that it's rare in the same way that E.T. is: it's a really bad game that isn't worth the time to play. You could play any number of the poorly done DBZ titles out on the current gen of consoles and get the same experience.

But with just over 9,000 copies made (10,000) it does make it rather unique. You'd just have be batshit, nutso crazy to think it's worth anywhere near 2k.

[go bid now]

Why spend 2k on a game when you could spend 75 bucks for a pack of donkeys and get more bang for your buck?

What's funny is the $2,000 he's asking for is just a "temporary price". It'll go back to $7,000 after the holiday season. Or it could just be a joke.
