This Is What Transfarring Looks Like

Posted on Tuesday, July 10 @ 10:30:00 Eastern by

I picked up the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Vita recently to see if I couldn't make my way through the two games on my favorite new gadget. Honestly, it hasn't helped. The MGS titles contained on the diminuitive card are dense and intimidating.

Still, it gave me an opportunity to check out the Transfarring process Kojima and company seemed so proud of when it was revealed at E3 last year. Check out the video above to see how saves get transfarred.

The process certainly isn't without some nonsense, and honestly I couldn't get it to work on several attempts. Once I finally moved my MGS2: Sons of Liberty save into the cloud, things seemed to work fine though. Are there any games you'd be willing to buy two copies of for this capability?

I think you needed to be at the TRANSFARRING screen on the PS3 for the Vita to connect to it with that option.
