Thursday Goodies: TMNT: Teenage Musical Ninja Turtles

Posted on Thursday, March 22 @ 17:32:12 Eastern by

Thursday Goodies are anything and everything, every Thursday night, bringing oddities to your eyeballs so you don't have to watch shitty TV, play shitty games, or socialize... God forbid. Honestly, we're just working for the weekend.

You know, there were a lot of terrible things that happened to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before Michael Bay got to even start thinking about making a new movie. Things like a shitty Street Fighter II clone. How about all the wallet-destroying merchandise? How about the original cartoon?

It's true, even the late 80s, early 90s cartoon that really brought TMNT to the forefront was kind of terrible considering how dark and edgy the original comics are. Still, I couldn't help but think of this horrifyingly bad musical stage show. It certainly gives my nerd rage perspective.

You can find the whole show in this Youtube playlist: Youtube

Actually, I have to say the SNES Tournament Fighters was actually damn good for an SFII clone. The Genesis incarnation, on the other hand... *shudder*
