In 1985 Nintendo started a revolution when it...
All of the batmobiles, from the West era to the Keaton era to the current Tumblers are all here in San Diego. Much to my surprise, they had a demonstration on how the West batmobile worked. Hot damn that car sounded so bad ass.
Saw it the other night on toon retro, robin flipped a little thing over the alarm button that said start, so the joker and gang set off the alarm when they tried to start it
Oh, I saw that before. Those crooks thought it would be so simple to push the start button. That's what you get for messing with the boy wonder. I'm pretty sure it was The Riddler though.
So it was, hard to remember sometimes, also happens to be teh same episode that has the bartender drug batmans orange juice then he does his internet famous little batdance then passes out.
One of the things I really love about the Batman universe is that it tends to absorb the new things that really work from any of its mediums (like the Riddler from the 60s tv series or Harley Quinn & Nora Fries from the 90s cartoon). I can't think of a single damn thing that was adopted from the Schumacher movies!
The Riddler only appeared, I think, twice in the comics in those 20 years before the 60s tv show. It was the tv show that made him a major villain and gave him most of the characteristics we know today.
thats whats happens when the people in charge want to make it a toy commercial. "The studio also brought in toy companies to be involved with pre-production, including the design of concept art and character illustrations. Director Joel Schumacher criticized Warner Bros.' strategy for Batman & Robin as being overtly toyetic." I feel bad for Schumacher, the disaster wasnt really his fault
I honestly think it was just a product of the times. Everything was horrendously overdesigned. Google the 90's Superman movie that was going to star Nicholas Cage. You'll see.
