Today In Fake Game News: Luigi's Mansion Foreclosed

It was revealed today that Luigi's Mansion had been foreclosed. The other Mario Brother has failed to make consistent mortgage payments and Mushroom Kingdom Credit Union has repossessed the home despite it's deprecating value due to consistent hauntings.

The loan officer in charge, Mr. Toad Stool said in a statement:

I know Luigi had planned to save his money from the previous ghost-busting job until another gig could be found, but without a release date from Nintendo the outlook was not good.

Luigi could not be reached for comment. Mario's publicist issued the following statement:

We do not comment on rumor or speculation.

It just goes to show that even Kart-racing, tennis-playing, 3D Land exploring bench warmers couldn't avoid the housing bubble.
