Not even the power of Neil Gaiman and The Odd Gentlemen could save this game from a fate worse than death: a terrible score.

For Obsidian's crowdfunded love letter to Infinity Engine games like Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate, I was impressed by its willingness to pull back the curtain and let me see the machinery behind it.

Yesterday, while cleaning up my media center, I found my copy of Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus, which I bought sometime before Christmas last year. I had been pretty excited about this game pre-release, what with it being the first "traditional", albeit shorter than usual,...

Valve Releases L4D For Mac And TF2 Gets Scary

Posted on Wednesday, October 27 @ 20:54:50 Eastern by
So, Halloween is here, while I'll be out this holiday, Valve would rather me be inside, playing games.

In addition to finally releasing Left 4 Dead on the Mac, which you may already own if you have the PC version, Team Fortress 2 is celebrating with its second Halloween update.

Valve time notwithstanding, Left 4 Dead is certainly a welcome addition to the library of games on the Mac. All of which has nothing to do with Steve Jobs.

I participated in last year's Halloween update for TF2, scoring myself a very stylish bag to place over my head. This year, players will face off against Horseless Headless Horsemann at the Mann Manor. I'm already shaking in my soldier class' boots. If you weren't around for the last Halloween update, you can earn all of those achievements again now.

I can't wait to take this pumpkin-headed bastard down.

Add me on steam. My ID is danielrbischoff. If you can keep up with my soldier (you can, trust me), we'll nab a couple of the new achievements.

I wonder if there's another bag for me to wear this year....

My last thought? Could this boss character possibly mean an official Vs. Saxton Hale mode soon?
