A real player hater

In spite of the confusion, we still agree in some cases. People who yell "Boom! Headshot!" into our mics definitely piss us off, although admittedly the thing that rankles most is the fact that we aren't the ones yelling it. But then the author goes too far, and says the following about Gaymers, or Gay Gamers:

"Every time I pop in a video game, I don't need these people shouting at me how I'm a homophobic monster because I don't agree with the way they live."

Now, I've played a lot of online games, and I think the only thing I haven't been randomly called was a homophobic monster. I also think it's a little bit hypocritical of the author to resent that comment when a) He resembles it and b) It's grammatically correct. If they were calling him a “Homonster-phobe,” he might have a point, but “homophobic monster” is grammatically airtight with its adjective / noun one-two punch.

What really knocks me out, though, is the fact that he complains about "Wii-Mote" and "Celda," then drops a "These people," possibly the most hateful two-word combo in the English language. While according to his standards it might have been worse if he said "Theople," he's still a Homonster-phobe, and I'm shockfused that Joystiq ran his piece.
