Brawndo! It's Like Drinking A Dinosaur Made Of Chainsaws!

Product a day returns with Brawndo, the latest energy drink in an ever more crowded field. This one hurts my brain though: It's a fake product from the movie Idiocracy, turned into a real product.
 I broke out the fine crystal one again to sample the bouquet. The color is a sort of nuclear green not found in nature. The flavor? I thought it indescribable until Blake nailed it exactly as "melted green Otter Pops". I wouldn't say it was any better or worse than the Mountain Dew Gamer Fuel.
So whats the hook? Preposterous amounts of Caffeine, Tuarine, Guarana, and all the usual semi-legal speed substitutes. Also, oddly, humor.
The can takes the same tongue-in-cheek humorous approach of the movie. The small print on the back reads:
BRAWNDO'S GOT WHAT PLANTS CRAVE! Brawndo's got electrolytes. And that's what plants crave. They crave electrolytes. Which is what Brawndo has. And that's why plants crave Brawndo. Not water, like from the toilet.
That pretty much sums up the attitude of their commercials as well, which are pretty funny.
If you ask me, all these energy drinks seem pretty much the same. But if there's a reason to pick one over another, maybe it's for their sense of humor?

| I drink Amp because I side with the al'queda. Wait no...that's why I vote Democrat. You're right. All energy drinks basically taste the same. They need to stop with the XTREME advertising. It's getting absurd. |

| just a fyi if any one reads this post again. you can watch the video that they stole this concept from at http://www.picnicface.com/videos.php?videoID=12. this video is at least a year old, and unless these guys made this brawndo video im pretty sure its a stolen concept. |
