Great idea!
This would only work if you want to do the "vocals" part on the flute. The next iteration of Rock Band or Guitar Hero should let you set any instrument to the mic, then you can play your real guitar, keyboard, sitar, didjeridu, etc. along with your friends using the plastics ones. |

| Yes indeed. I do that sometimes when my friends unwisely play guitarhero/rockband near my guitar rig. Kinda puts things in perspective when they're hammering away at a plastic box and someone is actually playing the real thing |

For example, "Sure you beat me in NBA Jam, but take this to the streets and your ass is mine!!!" I'm sure they already know it's just a game. |

| haha, tell me you wouldn't do it now and then. I enjoy the game as much as anyone else, but i also like the real thing. It's more about enjoying myself and playing along. I'm not trying to ruin anyone's fun or show-off. I just wish I knew more people that played music for real than played simulators. |
