DAILY MANIFESTO

War Never Changes

Posted on Tuesday, June 5 @ 19:53:07 Eastern by Duke_Ferris
Fallout 2 had the best opening movie of any video game, ever. So it's nice to see that the Fallout 3 trailer just released a couple hours ago maintains the same sense of style.

I know Fallout makes it into the Manifesto a lot, but that's simply because they were two of the best RPG's ever made, and I'm excited for the upcoming third game. Will Bethesda screw it up? Well the trailer sure doesn't tell us much, except for perhaps the date - Fall 2008. That assumes it doesn't get delayed.

We'll have some real info for you (and me) next week when GR's Mike Reilly goes to Bethesda, Maryland for the big Fallout 3 press event and party.

There's a high-res version of the Fallout 3 trailer here. Oh, and if you haven't seen that Fallout 2 opener I mentioned, it's got humor, style, and even Satchmo. Plus you can watch it right here.
