After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

What Are You Playing? April 27th, 2013

As much as I'd like to claim that I keep a tidy house, it's definitely time for spring cleaning over here. I've got cables everywhere, my entertainment console has been deconstructed several times to swap debug and retail consoles, and I'm pretty sure no one's going to eat this pizza. Even my review docket needs some spring cleaning.

I'm still working on Star Trek: The Video Game and I'm hoping to get further into Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine. If I'm playing games but not working this weekend, it'll be Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and the $3 community map pack. That arrives just in time too as I'm getting pretty sick of GO's revised Dust map. There aren't many titles left in April, so it's time to begin the ramp up towards E3 and major May and June releases like Metro: Last Light, The Last of Us, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. We've also got a ton of preview events in May so look forward to that too.

Is it time for spring cleaning or did I just procrastinate way later than anyone else? Are you still enjoying March and April releases or have you already paid off any upcoming games?

What are you playing?
