Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it
By Starling

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

What Are You Playing? December 10th, 2011

Posted on Saturday, December 10 @ 11:52:57 Eastern by

While we'll be livechatting VGAs later tonight, and really hope you'll join us, I'm out of the office for most of the day which means I will be dominating Mario Kart 7 from here until the first award drops. Mario Kart 7 has made me such a joyful 3DS owner, moreso than any other title so far. I love the series and it manages to captivate me on some childish level.

What are you playing?

I've never played that but I'm always hearing good things. What's this about a holiday themed mission? Or am I thinking of a different game?

Still playing Skyrim. I did take a brief break last night to play Trine for a bit. I picked it up in one of the Humble Bundles and never played it. After seeing a trailer for the Trine 2, I figured I'd give it a go. Pretty fun little game, gorgeous artwork, nice puzzles. Not something you can play for long periods of time though. It gets a bit repetitive.

Yesterday I started playing Heavy Rain, made the origami while waiting for the install, and to sum it up:

    I love it.

Playing WoW, Super Mario 3D Land & Let's Golf 3D on the 3DS.
    Having fun with this combination!
While waiting in WoW for a dungeon or battleground I take out my 3DS and play some Mario or Golf :)

Now that I've played Arkham City to death, ran through the (entirely too short, and frankly kinda lackluster) AC:R, I'm just twiddling my thumbs until I pick up UC3. Not sure though, I might go back and pick up some bargain deals on games I missed (like Enslaved, Castlevania, etc). Any suggestions on any other little gems I might have missed?

Skyrim. Finished main story & major faction quests on my mage. Started a new game with a khajiit thief/assassin named Butterscotch. Really enjoying archery, even more so than spellcasting, and I haven't even unlocked the time-slow & quick draw perks for it yet. Intended to play more BF3, but don't think it's going to happen. Need to spend more time with it before I get MW3 for Xmas, but tactical lights are still irritating as all Hell and Skyrim calls to me.
