What Are You Playing? December 3rd, 2011

Posted on Saturday, December 3 @ 13:23:28 Eastern by

I know most people are still enjoying Skyrim, but I've got a huge stack of newly released games and I've not spent enough time with any of them. That means I'll be putting Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Rayman Origins, and Battlefield 3 into heavy rotation.

I might also get this graphics card overclocked and put Metro 2033 to work on GameRevolution's review rig. Also, lots of Mario Kart 7 for GameRevolution's review. Still, I'll ask you...

What are you playing?

Instead of just saying I'm playing Skyrim, I'll tell you what I'm doing in Skyrim: Working on the main questline on my lvl 27 Arch-Mage Breton. Also just joined the Stormcloaks and intend to finish their quests and the main storyline before starting a new rogue-type thief/assassin character to experience the other parts & aspects of the game on.

How are you enjoying Assassin's Creed? I think the multiplayer is great this time around, tons of improvements and variations made.

Level 56 in Skyrim. I've got a fairly overpowered set of armor I made and enchanted to the point that I had to increase the difficulty to keep the game challenging. I'm about three quests into the main story and halfway through the Dark Brotherhood. I've started the Thieves Guild quests but have not gone very far with it. The same for the Companions.

I'd love to start playing AC:R, but there is just so much damn Skyrim left to play.

The story mode alone makes that game a must-buy. It's like a brand new MK movie!

I just finished Assassin's Creed Revelations story mode yesterday. I might give the multiplayer a go tonight, and then either my Gamefly (Deus Ex), or Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

It's a long wait but BF3 is good company between now and then. I still have plenty left to do in that game as well.

I think I'm going to take a little break from Skyrim starting tomorrow. Might get back into Arkham City to finish up some of the side missions and Riddler challenges (and believe me, I still have plenty left).

Metro2033 is a terrible game don't waste your time! I'm stick playing Skyrim whenever I get an hour or two free... Darksouls is gathering dust, I invested huge amounts of time into that game but still have so much to do on it. I got to level 40 in MW3 before Skyrim took over Until I defeat Skyrim I wont have time to play anything else!

I have 4 new games to play with (AC Revelations, BF3, Batman AC, Skyrim) and as of now I have only beaten Batman Arkham City because Skyrim is sucking the life out of me. I'm using two characters simultaneously and the experience is completely different between both. Killing a dragon with a warhammer is way more challenging than shooting one down with arrows.

Skyrim, although I am currently downloading Red Dead Redemption & Undead Nightmare for the PS3. I know, I'm way behind on the ball with this one, but I don't care if the MP's nearly deserted, it's the single player that counts, right?

Well there's a dude nearby playing God of War 2 for the first time, so don't feel you're THAT behind the ball.

Both single player and multiplayer in Red Dead are ****ing fantastic. If I had it on PS3 I would not hesitate to play with you... might go pick up a second copy for PS3 anyway.

Just finished Skyward Sword (which was AMAZING). I intend to finish Xenoblade Chronicles, AC:R and Uncharted 3 during winter break. I'd love to give Skyrim a go, but I don't have enough money right now.

A hell lot of Stone Soup; cutting up anybody that gets near me, just like the ghetto but with more random semi-valuable crap lying around.

Wat? Stone Soup? Isn't that a recipe? I had never heard of it but my girlfriend grew up ready this book about Stone Soup and it came with a soup recipe.

Skyrim until it kicks my @$$ then on to MW3 when I feel like killing people... Feeling a little jealous listening to my son play Twilight Princess AND Skyward Sword... I haven't got to play either yet...

Skyrim is a bit too glitched for my tastes right now, so while waiting for the next patch, I alternate between my second playthrough of Deus Ex 3 - just bought The Missing Link - and DC Universe Online, which is surprisingly awesome.

Dead Island Bloodbath arena - Bashing a zombie with an elctrified mace then shooting three of his peers in the body with a toxic shotgun that makes them puke and sets them up for a round of head chops with a diabolical machete. Life is good.
