For Obsidian's crowdfunded love letter to Infinity Engine games like Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate, I was impressed by its willingness to pull back the curtain and let me see the machinery behind it.

What Are You Playing? February 16th, 2013

I'm playing Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. I cannot talk about it. I'm not allowed to because the embargo doesn't lift until Tuesday morning at 12:00 AM PST. That's when you'll be able to read GameRevolution's review. After that you can go pick up your preorder when the shops open.

Beyond that, I'm going to screw around with Urban Trial Freestyle on the PlayStation Vita for another review. Free time this weekend will be spent on Fire Emblem: Awakening (finally got some streetpass opponents) or Planet Puzzle League, which begs the question:

Why hasn't Panel de Pon really caught on in America? I realize it's had a few hits, notably Tetris Attack and Pokemon Puzzle League, but in my opinion, Panel de Pon is on par with Tetris as the greatest puzzle-video game ever.
